The OnePlus 8 has an overall score of 76, which is a little bit better than Huawei Mate Xs 2's 72.6 score. OnePlus 8 is a older and thicker phone than Huawei Mate Xs 2, but OnePlus could make it way lighter anyway. OnePlus 8 features a more vivid screen than Huawei Mate Xs 2, although it has a bit lower pixels density, a little bit smaller screen and a way lower resolution of 1080 x 2400px.
OnePlus 8 counts with a way better hardware performance than Huawei Mate Xs 2. They have a 8 GB RAM memory and a Octa-Core processing unit. Huawei Mate Xs 2 has much more memory capacity to store more apps and games than OnePlus 8, because it has 128 GB more internal storage. Huawei Mate Xs 2 counts with a bit better battery performance than OnePlus 8, because it has a 7% larger battery size.
The OnePlus 8 shoots much better videos and photos than Huawei Mate Xs 2, although it has a back-facing camera with a worse 48 mega-pixels resolution, they both have the same camera aperture.
