Comparison review
The Huawei Mate 8 is slightly better than Huawei nova 2i, getting a general score of 77.4 against 72.4. Despite being the best in this review, it must be told that it is also older, somewhat heavier and just a little bit thicker. The Huawei nova 2i counts with a little bit better looking display than Huawei Mate 8, because although it has a little smaller display, it also counts with a quite better 1080 x 2160 resolution and a little more pixels per inch in the display.
The Huawei Mate 8 features a much greater storage capacity for games and applications than Huawei nova 2i, and although they both have an external memory card slot that allows a maximum of 128 GB, the Huawei Mate 8 also has 64 GB more internal storage. The Huawei Mate 8 has a CPU that is very similar to the processor in Huawei nova 2i, both have the same RAM amount and a Octa-Core processor.
The Huawei Mate 8 shoots much clearer photographs and videos than Huawei nova 2i, and although they both have the same video resolution and a same resolution camera in the back, the Huawei Mate 8 also has higher 60 fps video frame rate. Huawei Mate 8 features longer battery life than Huawei nova 2i, because it has 4000mAh of battery capacity.
