Comparison review
Galaxy A40 is a bit better than the Huawei nova 2i, getting a 79.6 score against 72.4. Even though the Galaxy A40 is just a little thicker than Huawei nova 2i, it's somewhat lighter and newer. Both phones in our current comparison include Android OS, but the Galaxy A40 has older 11 version and Huawei nova 2i has Android 7.0 Nougat version.
The Huawei nova 2i has a little bit better hardware performance than Samsung Galaxy A40. They have 8 CPU cores and the same RAM amount. Samsung Galaxy A40 counts with a little bit better looking display than Huawei nova 2i, and although they both have a same size display, the Samsung Galaxy A40 also has a just a bit more pixels per inch in the display and a slightly higher resolution of 1080 x 2340 pixels.
The Galaxy A40 features a better memory for apps and games than Huawei nova 2i, and although they both have exactly the same internal storage capacity, the Galaxy A40 also has an external SD slot that allows up to 512 GB. The Samsung Galaxy A40 has a much better camera than Huawei nova 2i. They have a same resolution camera, the same 30 fps video frame rate and the same video definition.
The Huawei nova 2i counts with a bit better battery lifetime than Galaxy A40, because it has an 8 percent larger battery size.
