Comparison review
The Xiaomi Redmi Note 9S is just a bit better than the Huawei nova 2i, getting a global score of 79 against 72.4. Even though Xiaomi Redmi Note 9S is much newer than Huawei nova 2i, it is a lot heavier and thicker. Both phones in this comparison review have Android OS, but Xiaomi Redmi Note 9S has older 11 version while Huawei nova 2i has Android 7.0 Nougat version.
Xiaomi Redmi Note 9S and Huawei nova 2i both feature incredibly similar processors, both of them have a Octa-Core processing unit and a 4 GB RAM memory. The Huawei nova 2i counts with a bit better display than Xiaomi Redmi Note 9S, because although it has a little bit smaller display and a little worse resolution of 1080 x 2160, it also counts with a just a bit more pixels per inch in the display.
Xiaomi Redmi Note 9S has a very superior camera than Huawei nova 2i, because it has a back facing camera with a lot better resolution and a way higher 3840x2160 (4K) video definition. Xiaomi Redmi Note 9S counts with a better storage for apps and games than Huawei nova 2i, and although they both have the same internal storage, the Xiaomi Redmi Note 9S also has an external memory card slot that supports a maximum of 512 GB.
Xiaomi Redmi Note 9S counts with a very superior battery life than Huawei nova 2i, because it has a 50 percent larger battery size.
