Comparison review
Galaxy A8 Star is just a bit better than Huawei nova 3, getting an 82.1 score against 76.3. These phones come with Android OS, but the Galaxy A8 Star has a newer 9.0 Pie version while Huawei nova 3 has Android 8.1 Oreo version. Although the Galaxy A8 Star is better than Huawei nova 3, it must be told that it is also heavier and a little thicker.
Huawei nova 3 has a little bit better looking display than Galaxy A8 Star, and although they both have a screen of the same size, the Huawei nova 3 also has a just a bit more pixels per inch of display and a slightly better resolution of 1080 x 2340px. The Huawei nova 3 features a bit faster CPU than Samsung Galaxy A8 Star. They have the same RAM amount and the same number of cores.
The Huawei nova 3 has more storage capacity to install games and applications than Galaxy A8 Star, because although it has a SD memory slot that holds up to 256 GB against 400 GB, it also counts with 128 GB internal memory capacity. The Galaxy A8 Star's battery duration is just as good as Huawei nova 3's battery performance, although the Galaxy A8 Star has a 1 percent smaller battery capacity.
Samsung Galaxy A8 Star has a bit better camera than Huawei nova 3, and although they both have the same 30 fps video frame rates, the same video quality and the same resolution back facing camera, the Samsung Galaxy A8 Star also has a larger aperture for better low light photography.
