Comparison review
Xiaomi Mi 5s is a little bit better than the Huawei nova 3, getting a 76.4 score against 76.3. Both phones we are comparing here include Android OS (operating system), but Xiaomi Mi 5s has older 6.0 Marshmallow version and Huawei nova 3 has Android 8.1 Oreo version. Despite of the fact the Xiaomi Mi 5s is older and a little thicker than Huawei nova 3, it's body is still lighter.
Xiaomi Mi 5s has a little sharper screen than Huawei nova 3, because although it has a bit smaller screen and a little bit worse resolution of 1080 x 1920px, it also counts with a just a bit more pixels per inch of display. Huawei nova 3 has just a bit better performance than Xiaomi Mi 5s, because it has a larger amount of RAM memory and a larger number of cores.
Huawei nova 3 captures a bit better photos and videos than Xiaomi Mi 5s, and although they both have the same 3840x2160 (4K) video resolution and the same 30 frames per second video frame rates, the Huawei nova 3 also has a way better 16 mega-pixels resolution back-facing camera and a bigger aperture.
The Huawei nova 3 counts with a much bigger memory for apps and games than Xiaomi Mi 5s, and although they both have the same internal memory, the Huawei nova 3 also has a slot for external memory cards that admits up to 256 GB. Huawei nova 3 features a little better battery lifetime than Xiaomi Mi 5s, because it has 3750mAh of battery capacity.
