Comparison review
The Huawei nova 5T has a score of 80.8, which is a little bit better than Huawei P20's 78.1 overall score. The Huawei nova 5T body is newer than Huawei P20's, but it is just a bit heavier and just a bit thicker. Both phones in our current comparison work with Android OS (operating system), but the Huawei nova 5T has an older 10 version while Huawei P20 has Android 9.0 Pie.
Huawei nova 5T has a bit more powerful processing unit than Huawei P20, and although they both have a Octa-Core CPU, the Huawei nova 5T also has a larger amount of RAM memory. Huawei P20 counts with a display that's very similar to the screen in Huawei nova 5T, because although the Huawei P20 has a quite smaller screen and a little bit worse 1080 x 2244 pixels resolution, it also counts with a quite greater count of pixels in each inch of screen.
The Huawei P20 features as much memory capacity for apps and games as the Huawei nova 5T, they have exactly the same 128 GB internal memory capacity. The Huawei nova 5T captures better photos and videos than Huawei P20, and although they both have a same size diafragm aperture, the same 30 frames per second video frame rate and the same video quality, the Huawei nova 5T also has a larger back camera sensor providing a better image quality and a way more MP back camera.
The Huawei nova 5T counts with just a bit better battery duration than Huawei P20, because it has 3750mAh of battery capacity.
Although Huawei nova 5T is a better device, it is a lot more expensive than the Huawei P20, and it doesn't have such a good relation between it's price and quality as Huawei P20. So if you want that extra specs and features, you can buy Huawei nova 5T, but if you don't you can save a couple dollars and buy the Huawei P20, letting go some specs and features.
