Xperia 5 is a bit better than the Huawei nova 5T, with a general score of 81 against 80.8. The Xperia 5 design is a little bit thicker but a bit lighter than the Huawei nova 5T, and both were only released 0 months apart. The Xperia 5 has a bit better performance than Huawei nova 5T. Both have 8 cores and 6 GB of RAM.
The Sony Xperia 5 features a slightly better screen than Huawei nova 5T, because although it has a little smaller screen, it also counts with a slightly higher 1080 x 2520 resolution and a little bit better screen pixel density. Huawei nova 5T has a much better camera than Sony Xperia 5, because although it has a smaller aperture which is not nice for shooting photographs and video in low light environments, and they both have the same video frame rates and the same 3840x2160 video quality, the Huawei nova 5T also counts with a way bigger sensor taking way higher quality photos and videos and a lot more mega pixels camera.
