The Galaxy A8 Star has a general score of 82.1, which is slightly better than the Huawei Nova 9's 81 overall score. Both devices in this review work with Android operating system, but Galaxy A8 Star has a newer 9.0 Pie version while Huawei Nova 9 has Android 11 version. Despite of the fact the Galaxy A8 Star is way older and a little bit heavier than the Huawei Nova 9, it's design is still just a little bit thinner.
Samsung Galaxy A8 Star and Huawei Nova 9 feature extremely similar screens, because although the Samsung Galaxy A8 Star has a little lower resolution of 1080 x 2220 pixels and a little bit smaller display, it also counts with a little better number of pixels in each display inch. Galaxy A8 Star counts with a better storage capacity for applications, games, photos and videos than Huawei Nova 9, because although it has 0 less internal memory, it also counts with a slot for SD memory cards that admits up to 400 GB.
