Comparison review
The Galaxy M31 is a little bit better than the Huawei Nova 9, having a global score of 86.5 against 81. Both of these phones come with the same Android 11 OS (operating system), so both should give the same OS features. Despite being the best cellphone in this review, the Galaxy M31 construction is older, thicker and just a bit heavier than the Huawei Nova 9.
Galaxy M31 has a bit better looking screen than Huawei Nova 9, because although it has a bit smaller screen, and they both have exactly the same resolution of 1080 x 2340 pixels, the Galaxy M31 also counts with a bit greater pixels quantity in each screen inch. The Huawei Nova 9 features just a little better performance than Galaxy M31, and although they both have 8 CPU cores, the Huawei Nova 9 also has a higher amount of RAM.
Samsung Galaxy M31 captures clearer videos and photos than Huawei Nova 9, and although they both have the same video frame rates and the same 3840x2160 (4K) video definition, the Samsung Galaxy M31 also has a larger aperture for better low light photos and videos and a lot more MP camera in the back.
The Samsung Galaxy M31 has a quite bigger storage for apps and games than Huawei Nova 9, because although it has 0 less internal storage capacity, it also counts with an external memory card slot that holds a maximum of 512 GB. The Galaxy M31 features a very superior battery lifetime than Huawei Nova 9, because it has a 40 percent bigger battery capacity.
