Asus ROG Phone 5 is better than the Huawei P Smart Z, getting a general score of 84.7 against 75.6. The Asus ROG Phone 5 construction is newer than the Huawei P Smart Z's, but it is heavier and thicker. The Asus ROG Phone 5 has a brighter screen than Huawei P Smart Z, because it has a bit higher resolution of 1080 x 2448 pixels, a little bit larger display and a quite higher pixel count in each display inch.
The Huawei P Smart Z has a bigger storage capacity for games and applications than Asus ROG Phone 5, because although it has less internal storage capacity, it also counts with a slot for external memory cards that admits a maximum of 512 GB.
