Huawei Mate 30 Pro is much better than Huawei P20 Lite (2019), getting an 87.1 score against 76.5. Both devices in this review include Android OS, but the Huawei Mate 30 Pro has the older 10 version while Huawei P20 Lite (2019) has Android 9.0 Pie. Even being the best in our current comparison, Huawei Mate 30 Pro's design is heavier and just a bit thicker than the Huawei P20 Lite (2019).
Huawei Mate 30 Pro features a little faster processing unit than Huawei P20 Lite (2019), and although they both have the same number of cores, the Huawei Mate 30 Pro also has a larger amount of RAM. Huawei Mate 30 Pro counts with a little sharper screen than Huawei P20 Lite (2019), because it has a just a little more pixels per display inch, a little bit larger screen and a quite better 1176 x 2400 resolution.
The Huawei Mate 30 Pro counts with a little bit better storage capacity for games and applications than Huawei P20 Lite (2019), because although it has no external SD slot, it also counts with 256 GB internal memory capacity. The Huawei Mate 30 Pro has just a little better battery performance than Huawei P20 Lite (2019), because it has 4500mAh of battery capacity.
Huawei Mate 30 Pro takes much clearer photographs and videos than Huawei P20 Lite (2019), because it has a bigger aperture to take better images in poorly lited situations, a back-facing camera with lot more mega-pixels and a lot better 3840x2160 (4K) video resolution.
