Comparison review
The Huawei P20 Lite (2019) is slightly better than the Xiaomi Mi 5s, with a 76.5 score against 76.4. Even though the Huawei P20 Lite (2019) is incredibly newer than the Xiaomi Mi 5s, it is somewhat heavier and a bit thicker. Both phones in this review include Android operating system, but the Huawei P20 Lite (2019) has newer 9.0 Pie version while Xiaomi Mi 5s has Android 6.0 Marshmallow version, offering a couple nice extra features.
The Xiaomi Mi 5s features just a bit better looking display than Huawei P20 Lite (2019), because although it has a little bit smaller screen and a little bit lower resolution of 1080 x 1920px, it also counts with a little higher pixels number in each inch in the screen. Huawei P20 Lite (2019) has just a bit better hardware performance than Xiaomi Mi 5s, and although they both have a 4 GB RAM, the Huawei P20 Lite (2019) also has a greater number of cores.
The Huawei P20 Lite (2019) counts with a much greater memory capacity for games and applications than Xiaomi Mi 5s, and although they both have the same 128 GB internal storage, the Huawei P20 Lite (2019) also has an external memory card slot that allows up to 256 GB. The Xiaomi Mi 5s takes just a bit better pictures and videos than Huawei P20 Lite (2019), because although it has a way less MP camera and a tinier aperture which is not favorable for taking photographs or video in low-light situations, it also counts with a way higher video quality.
The Huawei P20 Lite (2019) has superior battery duration than Xiaomi Mi 5s, because it has a 4000mAh battery size against 3200mAh.
