Comparison review
The OnePlus 8 is a bit better than Huawei P20 Lite, with a 76 score against 75.4. Even though OnePlus 8 is a lot newer than the Huawei P20 Lite, it is heavier and a little thicker. The OnePlus 8 features a bit sharper display than Huawei P20 Lite, because although it has a just a little less pixels per inch of screen, it also counts with a little bit larger display and a little higher 1080 x 2400 resolution.
The OnePlus 8 has a little bit better hardware performance than Huawei P20 Lite, and although they both have 8 cores, the OnePlus 8 also has 4 GB more RAM. The Huawei P20 Lite has a bit more memory for applications and games than OnePlus 8, because although it has less internal storage capacity, it also counts with a SD memory card expansion slot that supports up to 256 GB.
OnePlus 8 takes greater photos and videos than Huawei P20 Lite, because it has a way higher resolution camera, a bigger aperture for better photography in low light situations and a much higher 3840x2160 video resolution. The OnePlus 8 features a way better battery lifetime than Huawei P20 Lite, because it has a 4300mAh battery size.
Although OnePlus 8 is a better device, it costs a lot more money than the Huawei P20 Lite, and it doesn't have such a good quality/price relation as Huawei P20 Lite. So if you want that extra features and specs, you can buy the OnePlus 8, else you can save a couple dollars and buy the Huawei P20 Lite, giving up a couple features and specs.
