Comparison review
Huawei P20 Pro is just a bit better than Moto Z4, with a global score of 81.4 against 79.8. Although the Huawei P20 Pro is a better cellphone than Moto Z4, it must be told that it's also older, just a little bit heavier and a little bit thicker. Both devices in our current comparison work with the same Android 10 OS (Operating System).
Huawei P20 Pro features a bit more vivid display than Moto Z4, because although it has a little smaller display and a bit worse 1080 x 2240 resolution, it also counts with a just a bit more pixels per screen inch. The Huawei P20 Pro has a bit better processor than Moto Z4, and although they both have a Octa-Core CPU, the Huawei P20 Pro also has a higher amount of RAM memory.
Moto Z4's camera is just as good as the camera in Huawei P20 Pro, because although the Moto Z4 has a tinier sensor offering a lower image quality, and they both have the same 30 fps video frame rate and the same 3840x2160 (4K) video definition, it also counts with a larger aperture and a higher 48 MP resolution back facing camera.
The Moto Z4 features a much better storage for apps and games than Huawei P20 Pro, and although they both have equal internal storage, the Moto Z4 also has an external memory slot that supports a maximum of 512 GB. The Huawei P20 Pro features a little better battery life than Motorola Moto Z4, because it has a 4000mAh battery size instead of 3600mAh.
Despite of being the best phone of the ones we compare here, the Huawei P20 Pro is also a bargain compared to others.
