Comparison review
The Samsung Galaxy M31s has a general score of 88, which is just a bit better than the Huawei P20 Pro's overall score of 81.4. The Samsung Galaxy M31s body is a lot newer than the Huawei P20 Pro's, although it's somewhat heavier and somewhat thicker. Both of these phones use Android OS (Operating System), but Samsung Galaxy M31s has newer 11 version and Huawei P20 Pro has Android 10 version, giving a lot of extra features and improved performance.
Huawei P20 Pro and Galaxy M31s have quite similar displays, because although the Galaxy M31s has a little lower count of pixels per inch in the display, it also counts with a slightly better 1080 x 2400 resolution and a little bit larger display. Galaxy M31s counts with a way bigger memory capacity to store more apps and games than Huawei P20 Pro, and although they both have the same 128 GB internal memory capacity, the Galaxy M31s also has a slot for an external memory card that supports a maximum of 512 GB.
The Huawei P20 Pro and the Galaxy M31s feature quite similar CPUs, both of them have a 6 GB RAM memory and 8 processing cores. The Galaxy M31s takes just a bit better pictures and videos than Huawei P20 Pro, and although they both have the same 3840x2160 video resolution, the same diafragm aperture and the same 30 fps video frame rate, the Galaxy M31s also has a way better resolution camera in the back and a larger camera sensor shooting better quality photos and videos.
Galaxy M31s features a way better battery duration than Huawei P20 Pro, because it has 6000mAh of battery capacity.
