Comparison review
Huawei P20 Pro is just a bit better than Sony Xperia 5, getting an 81.4 score against 81. The Huawei P20 Pro is an older and a little bit heavier cellphone than the Sony Xperia 5, but Huawei could make it just a bit thinner anyway. The Xperia 5 counts with a bit more vivid display than Huawei P20 Pro, and although they both have a screen of the same size, the Xperia 5 also has a slightly better 1080 x 2520 resolution and a just a bit greater pixel count in each inch in the screen.
The Xperia 5 has a bit better CPU than Huawei P20 Pro. They have a Octa-Core processor and a 6 GB RAM memory. Sony Xperia 5 counts with much more storage capacity for applications and games than Huawei P20 Pro, and although they both have equal 128 GB internal memory, the Sony Xperia 5 also has a SD memory slot that supports a maximum of 512 GB.
The Huawei P20 Pro captures much better pictures and videos than Xperia 5, because although it has a tinier camera aperture which is worse for low light images and video, and they both have the same (4K) video resolution and the same video frame rates, the Huawei P20 Pro also counts with a camera in the back with a lot higher 40 MP resolution and a much larger back-facing camera sensor.
Huawei P20 Pro has longer battery life than Xperia 5, because it has 4000mAh of battery capacity.
