Comparison review
The Huawei P20 Pro has a general score of 81.4, which is slightly better than Xperia XZ2's score of 79.1. Even though the Huawei P20 Pro and Xperia XZ2 were only released with a couple of months difference, the Huawei P20 Pro is a bit lighter and a lot thinner. The Xperia XZ2 has a slightly better display than Huawei P20 Pro, because although it has a little bit smaller display and a quite lower resolution of 1080 x 2160px, it also counts with a little better pixels density.
Xperia XZ2 has a bit better performance than Huawei P20 Pro, although it has a lower amount of RAM memory, they both have 8 cores. Xperia XZ2 features a greater memory for games and applications than Huawei P20 Pro, because although it has just 64 GB internal memory capacity, it also counts with a slot for an external memory card that allows up to 400 GB.
The Huawei P20 Pro features improved battery life than Sony Xperia XZ2, because it has a 4000mAh battery size. Huawei P20 Pro shoots a bit better pictures and videos than Xperia XZ2, because although it has slower video frame rates, and they both have the same (4K) video quality, the Huawei P20 Pro also counts with a lot bigger sensor, a back camera with a way better 40 mega pixels resolution and a larger aperture for better low light photography.
