Comparison review
The Huawei P20 Pro has a general score of 81.4, which is a bit better than the Xiaomi Mi 5s's 76.4 score. Huawei P20 Pro's construction is newer and just a bit thinner, but also heavier than Xiaomi Mi 5s. These devices include Android OS (operating system), but Huawei P20 Pro has the previous 10 version and Xiaomi Mi 5s has Android 6.0 Marshmallow version.
The Huawei P20 Pro has a bit faster processing unit than Xiaomi Mi 5s, because it has a higher number of faster cores and a higher amount of RAM memory. The Xiaomi Mi 5s features a little more vivid screen than Huawei P20 Pro, because although it has a quite smaller screen and a bit worse resolution of 1080 x 1920px, it also counts with a just a bit higher pixel density.
The Huawei P20 Pro captures better photos and videos than Xiaomi Mi 5s, and although they both have the same 3840x2160 video quality and the same 30 frames per second video frame rates, the Huawei P20 Pro also has a much more mega pixels camera, a larger aperture to take better low light captures and videos and a much bigger camera sensor providing a way better image quality.
The Xiaomi Mi 5s and Huawei P20 Pro both feature really similar storage capacity for applications, games, photos and videos, they have equal internal memory. Huawei P20 Pro has better battery lifetime than Xiaomi Mi 5s, because it has a 25 percent larger battery size.
The Huawei P20 Pro costs a bit more money than Xiaomi Mi 5s, but you can get a better phone for that few more dollars.
