IPhone 8 Plus is much better than Huawei P20, getting a score of 87.1 against 78.1. The iPhone 8 Plus is a somewhat heavier cellphone than the Huawei P20, but both of them are 0.3inches thick. Apple iPhone 8 Plus counts with a bit more powerful processing unit than Huawei P20, because although it has a lower amount of RAM and 2 less cores , it also counts with a 64-bits CPU.
IPhone 8 Plus features a bit sharper display than Huawei P20, although it has a little smaller display, a little bit lower quantity of pixels per display inch and a quite lower 1080 x 1920 pixels resolution. Apple iPhone 8 Plus features a much bigger memory capacity for games and applications than Huawei P20, because it has 128 GB more internal memory capacity.
Huawei P20 features better battery performance than iPhone 8 Plus, because it has 3400mAh of battery capacity. IPhone 8 Plus shoots clearer videos and photos than Huawei P20, because although it has a way tinier sensor which offers a way worse image and video quality, and they both have the same video resolution, a F1.8 diafragm aperture and a same resolution camera in the back, the iPhone 8 Plus also counts with better video frame rate.
Although iPhone 8 Plus is a better device, it costs a lot more than Huawei P20, and it doesn't have such a good price and quality relation as the Huawei P20. If you prefer to save a few dollars, you can buy Huawei P20, letting go a couple features and specs, but you'll get the most out of your budget.
