Comparison review
The Huawei Mate X2 has a general score of 89.1, which is better than Huawei P20's 78.1 overall score. The Huawei Mate X2 design is newer, but noticeably heavier and just a bit thicker than Huawei P20. Both of these devices have Android OS (Operating System), but Huawei Mate X2 has older 10 version while Huawei P20 has Android 9.0 Pie.
Huawei Mate X2 has a little faster processor than Huawei P20, and although they both have a Octa-Core CPU, the Huawei Mate X2 also has 4 GB more RAM. Huawei Mate X2 counts with a little more vivid screen than Huawei P20, because although it has a little worse pixels number per inch in the display, it also counts with a much larger screen and a way better resolution of 2200 x 2480 pixels.
Huawei Mate X2 has a much greater memory capacity to store more games and applications than Huawei P20, because it has 128 GB more internal storage capacity. Huawei Mate X2 counts with superior battery lifetime than Huawei P20, because it has 4500mAh of battery capacity. The Huawei Mate X2 features a superior camera than Huawei P20, because although it has a smaller aperture, and they both have the same 3840x2160 (4K) video resolution and the same 30 fps video frame rate, the Huawei Mate X2 also counts with a camera with a much better resolution.
Although Huawei Mate X2 is a better device, it costs a lot more money than Huawei P20, and it doesn't have such a good price and quality relation as Huawei P20. So if you want that extra specs, you can buy the Huawei Mate X2, but if you don't you can save a couple dollars and buy the Huawei P20, resigning a couple specifications.
