Huawei Mate Xs is much better than Huawei P20, getting a 91.6 score against 78.1. Huawei Mate Xs's design is newer than the Huawei P20's, but it's thicker and notably heavier. The Huawei Mate Xs counts with a bit more vivid screen than Huawei P20, because although it has a quite worse number of pixels per screen inch, it also counts with a really larger screen and a lot higher resolution of 2200 x 2480px.
