Comparison review
The Huawei P40 Lite has a score of 79.5, which is a bit better than Huawei P20's overall score of 78.1. Huawei P40 Lite's body is newer, but a little bit heavier and somewhat thicker than the Huawei P20. Both of these devices include Android OS (operating system), but Huawei P40 Lite has an older 10 version while Huawei P20 has Android 9.0 Pie.
The Huawei P40 Lite counts with a processor that is just as good as the Huawei P20 one, and although the Huawei P40 Lite has 2 GB more RAM, they both have a Octa-Core CPU. Huawei P20 counts with a little more vivid display than Huawei P40 Lite, because although it has a little bit lower resolution of 1080 x 2244 and a little bit smaller screen, it also counts with a little bit better count of pixels in each screen inch.
Huawei P40 Lite shoots slightly better photographs and videos than Huawei P20, and although they both have a same size diafragm aperture, the same 1920x1080 (Full HD) video resolution and the same 30 frames per second video frame rates, the Huawei P40 Lite also has a camera with lot more megapixels and a larger sensor taking more light and vivid colors.
The Huawei P40 Lite has as much memory for games and applications as Huawei P20, they have exactly the same 128 GB internal storage. Huawei P40 Lite has better battery duration than Huawei P20, because it has a 4200mAh battery capacity instead of 3400mAh.
Even being the best phone in our comparison, Huawei P40 Lite is also cheaper than the Huawei P20, making it a very good choice.
