Microsoft Surface Duo has a global score of 78.8, which is just a bit better than the Huawei P20's 78.1 overall score. Both of these phones come with Android operating system, but Microsoft Surface Duo has older 10 version and Huawei P20 has Android 9.0 Pie version. Although Microsoft Surface Duo is incredibly heavier than Huawei P20, it's notably thinner and also newer.
The Microsoft Surface Duo counts with a bit more powerful processor than Huawei P20, and although they both have the same number of cores, the Microsoft Surface Duo also has more RAM. Microsoft Surface Duo and Huawei P20 have really similar screens, because although the Microsoft Surface Duo has a little inferior pixel quantity in each inch in the display, it also counts with a lot larger screen and a lot better resolution of 1800 x 2700px.
Huawei P20 shoots much better pictures and videos than Microsoft Surface Duo, because although it has lower 30 fps video frame rate, and they both have the same 3840x2160 (4K) video resolution, the Huawei P20 also counts with a better resolution camera and a bigger diafragm aperture for better low light photos and video.
The Huawei P20 and the Microsoft Surface Duo both count with very similar memory capacity for apps and games, both of them have equal internal memory. Microsoft Surface Duo counts with a little longer battery performance than Huawei P20, because it has 3577mAh of battery capacity.
Although Microsoft Surface Duo is a better device, it is a lot more expensive than the Huawei P20, and it doesn't have such a good price and quality relation as the Huawei P20. So if you want that extra features and specs, you can buy Microsoft Surface Duo, otherwise you can save some money and buy the Huawei P20, letting go some specs and features.
