Microsoft Surface Duo 2 has a score of 85.3, which is a bit better than Huawei P20's 78.1 global score. These phones use Android OS, but the Microsoft Surface Duo 2 has the previous 11 version while Huawei P20 has Android 9.0 Pie version. Microsoft Surface Duo 2's body is newer and extremely thinner than Huawei P20's, but it is extremely heavier.
Microsoft Surface Duo 2 has a bit more vivid screen than Huawei P20, because although it has a bit worse screen density, it also counts with a lot better resolution of 1892 x 2688 and a lot larger screen. Microsoft Surface Duo 2 features just a bit better processing power than Huawei P20, and although they both have 8 CPU cores, the Microsoft Surface Duo 2 also has a greater amount of RAM memory.
Microsoft Surface Duo 2 has as much storage capacity to store more apps and games as the Huawei P20 one, both have the same internal storage. Microsoft Surface Duo 2 features improved battery life than Huawei P20, because it has 4449mAh of battery capacity against 3400mAh. Microsoft Surface Duo 2 features a camera that's just as good as the Huawei P20 one, and although the Microsoft Surface Duo 2 has faster video frame rate and a larger aperture, they both have the same (4K) video resolution and a same resolution back-facing camera.
Although Microsoft Surface Duo 2 is a better device, it costs a lot more money than Huawei P20, and it doesn't have such a good price and quality relation as the Huawei P20. So if you need that extra specs and features, you can buy the Microsoft Surface Duo 2, otherwise you can save some dollars and buy the Huawei P20, letting go some features and specifications.
