Comparison review
Huawei P20 is a little bit better than Motorola Edge 40, with a 78.1 score against 77.2. Huawei P20's design has the same thickness than the Motorola Edge 40, but it is a little bit lighter. These phones have Android OS (Operating System), but Huawei P20 has newer 9.0 Pie version and Motorola Edge 40 has Android 13 version.
The Motorola Edge 40 has a little sharper screen than Huawei P20, because although it has a just a bit lower pixels number in each inch of screen, it also counts with a bit higher 1080 x 2400 pixels resolution and a bit bigger screen. The Huawei P20 has a very superior processing power than Motorola Edge 40, although it has 4 GB less RAM, they both have 8 cpu cores.
Huawei P20 and Motorola Edge 40 have similar storage for games and applications, they have exactly the same internal storage. Motorola Edge 40 has a much better camera than Huawei P20, and although they both have the same 30 frames per second video frame rates and the same 3840x2160 video quality, the Motorola Edge 40 also has a much bigger aperture to take better photos and video in poorly lited environments, a lot bigger camera sensor which offers a much higher photo and video quality and a back facing camera with a way higher resolution.
The Motorola Edge 40 has superior battery life than Huawei P20, because it has 4400mAh of battery capacity.
