Comparison review
Samsung Galaxy A9 (2018) has a general score of 85.2, which is a little bit better than the Huawei P20's score of 78.1. Although it's the best cellphone we compare here, Samsung Galaxy A9 (2018)'s design is just a little thicker and just a bit heavier than the Huawei P20. The Galaxy A9 (2018)'s CPU is very similar to the processor in Huawei P20, and although the Galaxy A9 (2018) has a larger amount of RAM, they both have a Octa-Core processor.
Huawei P20 features a little bit better looking display than Samsung Galaxy A9 (2018), because although it has a quite smaller screen, it also counts with a quite better resolution of 1080 x 2244 and a little bit better pixels density. The Galaxy A9 (2018) has a much greater storage for applications, games, photos and videos than Huawei P20, and although they both have the same 128 GB internal storage, the Galaxy A9 (2018) also has a slot for SD memory cards that supports up to 512 GB.
The Samsung Galaxy A9 (2018) shoots clearer videos and photos than Huawei P20, because although it has a smaller camera sensor which gives a worse photo and video quality, and they both have the same 3840x2160 video quality and the same video frame rate, the Samsung Galaxy A9 (2018) also counts with a bigger aperture for better images in poorly lited environments and a back facing camera with a way better resolution.
Samsung Galaxy A9 (2018) features just a bit better battery life than Huawei P20, because it has 3800mAh of battery capacity.
