Comparison review

Galaxy Note 5 is a bit better than Huawei P20, with a general score of 79.3 against 78.1. These devices work with Android OS (Operating System), but Galaxy Note 5 has an older 5.1 version while Huawei P20 has Android 9.0 Pie. The Galaxy Note 5 is a just a little bit heavier cellphone than Huawei P20, but both of them have the same thickness.

Huawei P20 has just a bit better hardware performance than Galaxy Note 5, and although they both have the same RAM amount, the Huawei P20 also has a larger number of cores. Samsung Galaxy Note 5 has a sharper screen than Huawei P20, because although it has a quite smaller display, it also counts with a higher 2560 x 1440 resolution and a quite better pixel amount in each inch of display.

The Huawei P20 counts with much more storage to install games and applications than Samsung Galaxy Note 5, because it has 128 GB internal storage. The Galaxy Note 5's camera is just as good as the Huawei P20 one, because although the Galaxy Note 5 has a smaller sensor capturing lower quality pictures and a tinier camera aperture which is not nice for low-light photography and video, and they both have the same video quality and the same video frame rates, it also counts with a back camera with much more megapixels.

Huawei P20 counts with a bit superior battery life than Samsung Galaxy Note 5, because it has a 13% larger battery size.

Although Galaxy Note 5 is a better device, it costs a lot more than the Huawei P20, and it doesn't have such a good relation between it's price and quality as the Huawei P20. If you prefer to save some dollars, you can get the Huawei P20, and give up some specs and features, but you'll get the most out of your budget.
