Comparison review
The Galaxy S8 Active is a bit better than the Huawei P20, having an 81.9 score against 78.1. Even though the Galaxy S8 Active is better than Huawei P20, we must note that it is also a notably thicker and way heavier phone. The Samsung Galaxy S8 Active counts with a slightly better display than Huawei P20, and although they both have a display of the same size, the Samsung Galaxy S8 Active also has a better resolution of 1440 x 2960 and a greater pixel number in each inch in the display.
Galaxy S8 Active has a slightly better memory for applications, games, photos and videos than Huawei P20, because although it has less internal storage, it also counts with a slot for external memory cards that holds a maximum of 256 GB. The Galaxy S8 Active's CPU is very similar to the Huawei P20 one, they have a 4 GB RAM memory and the same number of cores.
The Huawei P20 takes just a bit better pictures and videos than Samsung Galaxy S8 Active, because although it has a tinier aperture, and they both have the same (4K) video resolution, the same resolution back facing camera and the same video frame rate, the Huawei P20 also counts with a larger sensor providing a better image quality.
