Xperia XZ Premium is just a bit better than Huawei P20, with a score of 79.8 against 78.1. Even being the best we are comparing, the Xperia XZ Premium design is older, heavier and just a little thicker than the Huawei P20. Sony Xperia XZ Premium counts with a lot better looking screen than Huawei P20, because although it has a bit smaller screen, it also counts with a lot more pixels per inch in the screen and a lot higher 2160 x 3840px resolution.
Sony Xperia XZ Premium has a bit better performance than Huawei P20. They have a 4 GB RAM memory and the same number of cores. The Sony Xperia XZ Premium has a little bit more memory capacity for applications and games than Huawei P20, because although it has less internal memory, it also counts with an external memory slot that allows up to 256 GB.
Xperia XZ Premium features a bit better camera than Huawei P20, because although it has a smaller aperture, and they both have the same 3840x2160 video definition, a same size sensor and the same video frame rate, the Xperia XZ Premium also counts with a lot more MP camera in the back.
