Comparison review
Xiaomi 12 is slightly better than the Huawei P20, having a 78.8 score against 78.1. Although Xiaomi 12 is extremely newer than the Huawei P20, it's just a little bit thicker and just a little bit heavier. Both devices we compare here have Android operating system, but Xiaomi 12 has the previous 12 version while Huawei P20 has Android 9.0 Pie version.
The Huawei P20 features a much better performing processor than Xiaomi 12, although it has 4 GB less RAM memory, they both have 8 processing cores. The Xiaomi 12 counts with a little sharper display than Huawei P20, because although it has a just a bit less pixels per screen inch, it also counts with a quite bigger screen and a bit higher 1080 x 2400px resolution.
Xiaomi 12's storage to install games and applications is just as good as the Huawei P20 one, both have exactly the same internal storage capacity. The Xiaomi 12 counts with improved battery lifetime than Huawei P20, because it has a 4500mAh battery capacity instead of 3400mAh. The Xiaomi 12 captures a lot better pictures and videos than Huawei P20, because although it has a smaller camera aperture which is worse for shooting pictures and video in low light environments, it also counts with a way larger sensor which offers a much better photo and video quality, a way better video resolution and a camera in the back with much more MP.
