Xiaomi Mi 9 is a little bit better than the Huawei P20, getting an 83.2 score against 78.1. Xiaomi Mi 9's design has the same thickness than the Huawei P20, but it is a little heavier. Xiaomi Mi 9 counts with just a little better performance than Huawei P20, and although they both have the same number of cores, the Xiaomi Mi 9 also has more RAM memory.
Xiaomi Mi 9 counts with a bit more vivid screen than Huawei P20, because although it has a just a bit less pixels per inch in the screen, it also counts with a quite larger screen and a slightly higher resolution of 1080 x 2340. The Xiaomi Mi 9 captures much clearer photographs and videos than Huawei P20, and although they both have the same video resolution and a same size aperture, the Xiaomi Mi 9 also has better video frame rates, a bigger camera sensor providing a better image quality and a back camera with a much better resolution.
The Xiaomi Mi 9 features as much memory capacity for games and applications as the Huawei P20, both of them have equal internal storage. Huawei P20 features a bit superior battery performance than Xiaomi Mi 9, because it has 3400mAh of battery capacity instead of 3300mAh.
