Comparison review
The Huawei P20 is just a bit better than Xiaomi Mi Max, having a score of 78.1 against 77.5. Huawei P20 is a somewhat lighter phone than the Xiaomi Mi Max, but they are equally thin. The Huawei P20 features a little sharper screen than Xiaomi Mi Max, because although it has a quite smaller display, it also counts with a just a little higher display density and a slightly higher resolution of 1080 x 2244px.
Xiaomi Mi Max counts with a very superior storage capacity to install games and applications than Huawei P20, and although they both have the same internal storage, the Xiaomi Mi Max also has a SD card slot that allows a maximum of 256 GB. Huawei P20 features a bit faster processing unit than Xiaomi Mi Max. Both have a 4 GB RAM memory and 8 cpu cores.
Huawei P20 features just a bit better camera than Xiaomi Mi Max, because although it has a lot worse 12 mega pixels resolution back camera and a lower 3840x2160 (4K) video quality, it also counts with a larger aperture to capture better photography and videos in low-light situations. Xiaomi Mi Max has a way better battery performance than Huawei P20, because it has a 4850mAh battery capacity instead of 3400mAh.
