Xiaomi Mi MIX 2 is a bit better than the Huawei P20, having a overall score of 81.2 against 78.1. The Xiaomi Mi MIX 2 is a somewhat heavier phone than Huawei P20, but they are 0.3inches thick. Xiaomi Mi MIX 2 counts with a bit better performance than Huawei P20, and although they both have the same number of cores, the Xiaomi Mi MIX 2 also has more RAM memory.
The Huawei P20 has a little bit better display than Xiaomi Mi MIX 2, because although it has a quite smaller display, it also counts with a slightly higher resolution of 1080 x 2244px and a little greater pixel density. Huawei P20 takes slightly better videos and photos than Xiaomi Mi MIX 2, and although they both have the same 3840x2160 video resolution, the same video frame rates and a same resolution camera, the Huawei P20 also has a larger aperture to capture better low light photography and videos and a lot larger sensor taking much higher quality pictures.

Although Xiaomi Mi MIX 2 is a better device, it costs a lot more money than Huawei P20, and it doesn't have such a good relation between it's price and quality as the Huawei P20. So if you want that extra specs and features, you can buy the Xiaomi Mi MIX 2, but if you don't you can save a couple dollars and get the Huawei P20, resigning a couple specifications.
