Sony Xperia 5 has a score of 81, which is just a bit better than Huawei P30 Lite's score of 77. Despite being the best cellphone in this comparison review, it must be noted that it is also a just a little bit thicker and a bit heavier cellphone. The Sony Xperia 5 counts with a little bit better performance than Huawei P30 Lite, and although they both have the same number of cores, the Sony Xperia 5 also has 2 GB more RAM.
Sony Xperia 5 counts with a slightly better display than Huawei P30 Lite, because although it has a quite smaller display, it also counts with a bit greater pixels amount per screen inch and a quite better resolution of 1080 x 2520. The Sony Xperia 5 captures a little bit better pictures and videos than Huawei P30 Lite, because although it has a way smaller sensor providing a much lower image quality and a lot less MP camera in the back, it also counts with a much higher 3840x2160 video quality and a larger aperture to capture better low light images and videos.
The Sony Xperia 5's memory for applications and games is very similar to Huawei P30 Lite's one, both of them have equal 128 GB internal storage and a SD memory slot that allows up to 512 GB. Huawei P30 Lite has a little longer battery duration than Sony Xperia 5, because it has 3340mAh of battery capacity instead of 3140mAh.
Although Xperia 5 is a better device, it is way more expensive than the Huawei P30 Lite, and it doesn't have such a good price and quality relation as Huawei P30 Lite. If you are trying to save some money, you can get the Huawei P30 Lite, giving up a couple features, but you will get the most with your budget.
