Comparison review
The Galaxy M31s is just a bit better than the Huawei P30 Pro New Edition, with a score of 88 against 85.9. Even though Galaxy M31s is better than the Huawei P30 Pro New Edition, we must note that it's also just a bit heavier and thicker. Both devices we are comparing use Android operating system, but Galaxy M31s has a more recent 11 version while Huawei P30 Pro New Edition has Android 10, providing the user a couple additional features and optimized performance.
Huawei P30 Pro New Edition features a little bit better performance than Samsung Galaxy M31s, and although they both have the same number of cores, the Huawei P30 Pro New Edition also has 2 GB more RAM. Samsung Galaxy M31s has a display that's very similar to the screen in Huawei P30 Pro New Edition, and although the Samsung Galaxy M31s has a little higher resolution of 1080 x 2400 pixels and a just a little greater quantity of pixels per inch in the display, they both have a same size screen.
The Galaxy M31s features a little bit better camera than Huawei P30 Pro New Edition, because although it has a tinier diafragm aperture, and they both have the same (4K) video quality, a 0.59 inches back-facing camera sensor and the same 30 frames per second video frame rates, the Galaxy M31s also counts with a back facing camera with much more megapixels.
The Galaxy M31s counts with a little bit better memory for games and applications than Huawei P30 Pro New Edition, because although it has less internal memory capacity, it also counts with an external SD slot that allows a maximum of 512 GB. Samsung Galaxy M31s has a very superior battery lifetime than Huawei P30 Pro New Edition, because it has a 43 percent greater battery capacity.
