Galaxy A8 Star has a global score of 82.1, which is a bit better than Huawei P30's 81.7 score. The Galaxy A8 Star is a somewhat heavier cellphone than Huawei P30, but both of them are equally thin. These phones come with Android OS, but the Galaxy A8 Star has a more recent 9.0 Pie version and Huawei P30 has Android 10 version, providing a couple nice extra features.
Huawei P30 features a bit more vivid display than Galaxy A8 Star, because although it has a quite smaller screen, it also counts with a slightly better 1080 x 2340px resolution and a little bit higher pixels number per inch of display. The Galaxy A8 Star has more storage capacity for applications, games, photos and videos than Huawei P30, because although it has just 64 GB internal memory, it also counts with a slot for an SD memory card that allows a maximum of 400 GB.
