Comparison review
The Huawei P30 is a little bit better than Xperia 5, with an 81.7 score against 81. Even though the Huawei P30 and the Xperia 5 were released with only 6 months difference, Huawei P30's construction is just a bit heavier but also a little bit thinner than the Xperia 5. Sony Xperia 5 features just a bit better looking screen than Huawei P30, and although they both have a screen of the same size, the Sony Xperia 5 also has a little higher resolution of 1080 x 2520 pixels and a little bit better pixels amount per inch of display.
The Sony Xperia 5 features a superior storage capacity for games and applications than Huawei P30, and although they both have the same 128 GB internal storage capacity, the Sony Xperia 5 also has an external SD slot that supports up to 512 GB. Sony Xperia 5 counts with a bit better processor than Huawei P30. Both of them have a 6 GB RAM memory and a Octa-Core processor.
Huawei P30 has just a bit better battery performance than Sony Xperia 5, because it has 3650mAh of battery capacity. Huawei P30 captures better videos and photos than Xperia 5, because although it has a smaller camera aperture, and they both have the same 30 frames per second video frame rates and the same video definition, the Huawei P30 also counts with a way bigger back-facing camera sensor which gives a much better image and video quality and a back camera with lot more megapixels.
In addition to being the best phone between the ones we are comparing here, Huawei P30 is also by far the cheapest one, which makes it very easy to pick between these phones.
