Comparison review
The Huawei P30 has a global score of 81.7, which is just a bit better than the Xperia XZ1's general score of 78.3. Although Huawei P30 is newer than the Xperia XZ1, it is a little bit heavier and a little bit thicker. The Xperia XZ1 and Huawei P30 have very similar displays, because although the Xperia XZ1 has a little smaller display and a bit worse 1080 x 1920px resolution, it also counts with a bit greater pixel amount in each inch in the screen.
The Xperia XZ1 counts with a much bigger memory for apps and games than Huawei P30, because although it has only 64 GB internal memory capacity, it also counts with a slot for external memory cards that admits up to 1,95 TB. The Huawei P30 shoots better videos and photos than Xperia XZ1, and although they both have the same 3840x2160 video quality and the same video frame rate, the Huawei P30 also has a bigger aperture for better photos and videos in poorly lited environments, a way bigger back-facing camera sensor capturing more light and vivid colors and a way better 40 MP resolution back-facing camera.
