Comparison review
Galaxy M31 is just a bit better than the Huawei P40 lite 5G, having an 86.5 score against 83.4. Both phones we are comparing come with Android OS, but Galaxy M31 has newer 11 version while Huawei P40 lite 5G has Android 10. Although it's the best in our current comparison, the Galaxy M31 is a just a little bit thicker and a little bit heavier cellphone than the Huawei P40 lite 5G.
Galaxy M31 counts with a slightly better looking display than Huawei P40 lite 5G, although it has a quite inferior count of pixels per inch in the display, a quite lower resolution of 1080 x 2340px and a little smaller screen. The Galaxy M31 features a greater memory for games and applications than Huawei P40 lite 5G, because although it has just 64 GB internal memory, it also counts with an external memory card slot that admits a maximum of 512 GB.
The Huawei P40 lite 5G and the Galaxy M31 both feature similar processing units, both of them have 8 cpu cores and a 6 GB RAM. Galaxy M31 has a slightly better camera than Huawei P40 lite 5G. Both of them have the same video resolution, a F1.8 aperture, the same 30 frames per second video frame rate and the same resolution back camera.
The Samsung Galaxy M31 counts with a much better battery life than Huawei P40 lite 5G, because it has a 6000mAh battery capacity.
