The Apple iPhone 8 is a bit better than Huawei P40 Lite, getting a general score of 85 against 79.5. The Apple iPhone 8 construction is thinner and somewhat lighter than Huawei P40 Lite, although it was released many years before. Apple iPhone 8 counts with a little bit better screen than Huawei P40 Lite, although it has a way lower 750 x 1334px resolution, a just a little inferior count of pixels per inch in the display and a way smaller display.
Apple iPhone 8 counts with a bit better processor than Huawei P40 Lite, because although it has less RAM memory and a lower number of cores (although they are faster), it also counts with a 64-bit CPU. The Apple iPhone 8 features a much better storage capacity for applications, games, photos and videos than Huawei P40 Lite, because it has 128 GB more internal memory.
Huawei P40 Lite has a much longer battery performance than Apple iPhone 8, because it has 4200mAh of battery capacity instead of 1821mAh. The Huawei P40 Lite counts with a bit better camera than Apple iPhone 8, because although it has slower 30 fps video frame rates, and they both have the same 1920x1080 (Full HD) video definition and a F1.8 diafragm aperture, the Huawei P40 Lite also counts with a way bigger sensor providing a lot better image quality and a camera in the back with a way better 48 mega-pixels resolution.
Although iPhone 8 is a better device, it costs a lot more than Huawei P40 Lite, and it doesn't have such a good price and quality relation as the Huawei P40 Lite. So if you need that extra features and specs, you can buy iPhone 8, else you can save some dollars and buy the Huawei P40 Lite, resigning some specs and features.
