Comparison review
Galaxy M30s has an overall score of 83.3, which is a little bit better than the Huawei P40 Lite's global score of 79.5. Even being the best cellphone we are comparing here, the Galaxy M30s is a just a bit heavier and a little thicker cellphone than the Huawei P40 Lite. Both phones in this comparison include Android OS (Operating System), but the Galaxy M30s has newer 11 version while Huawei P40 Lite has Android 10, providing the user some additional features.
Huawei P40 Lite and Galaxy M30s count with quite similar screens, and although the Galaxy M30s has a quite better display density and a slightly higher resolution of 1080 x 2340, they both have a display of the same size. Samsung Galaxy M30s's processing unit is very similar to Huawei P40 Lite's processing unit, and although the Samsung Galaxy M30s has less RAM, they both have the same number of cores.
The Galaxy M30s features a greater storage for apps and games than Huawei P40 Lite, because although it has 0 less internal memory, it also counts with a slot for an external memory card that holds up to 512 GB. The Galaxy M30s has a very superior battery lifetime than Huawei P40 Lite, because it has a 6000mAh battery size against 4200mAh.
The Samsung Galaxy M30s captures a bit better photos and videos than Huawei P40 Lite, because although it has a smaller diafragm aperture which is not favorable for shooting images and video in poorly lited situations, and they both have a 48 mega pixels resolution camera and a 0.5 inches sensor, the Samsung Galaxy M30s also counts with a lot better 3840x2160 video resolution.
