Comparison review
Samsung Galaxy M31 is slightly better than Huawei P40 Lite, with a general score of 86.5 against 79.5. Although it's the best cellphone in this comparison review, we must note that it's also a little bit thicker and just a bit heavier. Both of these devices include Android operating system, but Samsung Galaxy M31 has newer 11 version while Huawei P40 Lite has Android 10 version, giving some additional features.
Galaxy M31 features a bit better screen than Huawei P40 Lite, and although they both have a same size display, the Galaxy M31 also has a little bit higher display density and a slightly better 1080 x 2340 pixels resolution. Galaxy M31 features a quite bigger memory capacity for apps and games than Huawei P40 Lite, because although it has 0 less internal storage capacity, it also counts with a slot for an SD memory card that supports a maximum of 512 GB.
The Samsung Galaxy M31 has a little faster processor than Huawei P40 Lite. Both of them have 6 GB of RAM and 8 processing cores. The Samsung Galaxy M31 shoots better pictures and videos than Huawei P40 Lite, and although they both have the same aperture, the Samsung Galaxy M31 also has a lot higher 3840x2160 (4K) video definition, a back facing camera with a much higher resolution and a bigger sensor providing a higher image quality.
The Galaxy M31 counts with a very superior battery performance than Huawei P40 Lite, because it has a 6000mAh battery size against 4200mAh.
