Comparison review
The Huawei P40 Pro has an overall score of 88.2, which is just a bit better than Asus ROG Phone 5's 84.7 general score. Huawei P40 Pro's body is somewhat thinner and lighter than Asus ROG Phone 5, even though it was released around a year before. The Asus ROG Phone 5's processing unit is just as good as the processor in Huawei P40 Pro, both have the same number of cores and the same RAM memory amount.
The Asus ROG Phone 5 has just a bit better screen than Huawei P40 Pro, because although it has a quite worse screen density and a little bit worse 1080 x 2448 resolution, it also counts with a bit bigger screen. Asus ROG Phone 5's storage capacity to store more apps and games is just as good as the Huawei P40 Pro one, both of them have the same internal storage capacity.
Asus ROG Phone 5 has a bit better camera than Huawei P40 Pro, because although it has a lot tinier back camera sensor taking less light and washed colors, it also counts with a much higher 7680x4320 video definition, a bigger diafragm aperture to take better photos in low-light environments and a lot better 64 megapixels resolution camera in the back.
Asus ROG Phone 5 features a really longer battery performance than Huawei P40 Pro, because it has 6000mAh of battery capacity instead of 4200mAh.
