Huawei P40 Pro has a global score of 88.2, which is a little bit better than Huawei Mate 30 Pro's 87.1 global score. Huawei P40 Pro's construction has the same thickness than Huawei Mate 30 Pro, but it is just a little heavier. Both phones in our current comparison work with the same Android 10 operating system.
The Huawei P40 Pro counts with a bit better looking screen than Huawei Mate 30 Pro, because it has a little better screen density, a slightly better 1200 x 2640px resolution and a little bit bigger display. The Huawei Mate 30 Pro has a lot bigger storage capacity to install applications and games than Huawei P40 Pro, because it has more internal storage capacity.
The Huawei Mate 30 Pro's processing unit is very similar to Huawei P40 Pro's processing unit, both have a Octa-Core processing unit and 8 GB of RAM memory. The Huawei Mate 30 Pro features a little better battery life than Huawei P40 Pro, because it has a 7 percent more battery capacity. The Huawei P40 Pro counts with a slightly better camera than Huawei Mate 30 Pro, because although it has a smaller diafragm aperture which is not nice for low light photography, and they both have the same video frame rates and the same 3840x2160 (4K) video resolution, the Huawei P40 Pro also counts with a camera in the back with more mega-pixels and a lot bigger sensor providing a much higher image quality.
