Comparison review

The Huawei P40 Pro has a general score of 88.2, which is a little bit better than LG V50 ThinQ's score of 83.7. The Huawei P40 Pro body is newer, but heavier and a bit thicker than the LG V50 ThinQ. Both of these phones come with the same Android 10 OS, so you shouldn't notice any difference regarding that.

LG V50 ThinQ features a little sharper display than Huawei P40 Pro, because although it has a bit smaller display, it also counts with a little better pixel count in each inch of display and a higher resolution of 1440 x 3120. The LG V50 ThinQ counts with a way bigger storage to install applications and games than Huawei P40 Pro, and although they both have exactly the same 128 GB internal memory, the LG V50 ThinQ also has a slot for external memory cards that supports a maximum of 1,95 TB.

The LG V50 ThinQ's processing unit is very similar to the processor in Huawei P40 Pro, and although the LG V50 ThinQ has a smaller amount of RAM memory, they both have the same number of cores. Huawei P40 Pro captures greater photos and videos than LG V50 ThinQ, because although it has a lot tinier aperture which is not recommended for capturing images or video in low light environments, and they both have the same video frame rates and the same 3840x2160 video quality, the Huawei P40 Pro also counts with a back camera with a lot higher resolution and a way bigger back-facing camera sensor which provides a lot higher photo and video quality.

The Huawei P40 Pro counts with just a bit longer battery life than LG V50 ThinQ, because it has a 5 percent larger battery capacity.
