Comparison review
The Huawei P40 Pro is a little bit better than Motorola Edge 50, getting an 88.2 score against 81.2. Despite being the best in our current comparison, it must be noted that it is also noticeably older, somewhat thicker and somewhat heavier. Both phones in this comparison include Android OS, but the Huawei P40 Pro has older 10 version and Motorola Edge 50 has Android 14.
The Motorola Edge 50 has a more vivid display than Huawei P40 Pro, because it has a bit better pixels quantity in each screen inch, a slightly higher 1220 x 2712 pixels resolution and a little bigger display. The Huawei P40 Pro has a much more powerful processing unit than Motorola Edge 50. Both of them have the same number of cores and a 8 GB RAM.
The Huawei P40 Pro shoots a little bit better videos and photos than Motorola Edge 50, because although it has a smaller aperture, and they both have the same resolution camera in the back and the same 3840x2160 video resolution, the Huawei P40 Pro also counts with a larger camera sensor shooting higher quality photos and videos and higher video frame rates.
Motorola Edge 50 has much more memory capacity to store more games and applications than Huawei P40 Pro, because it has more internal memory capacity. Motorola Edge 50 features greater battery lifetime than Huawei P40 Pro, because it has a 5000mAh battery size instead of 4200mAh.
