Comparison review
Huawei P40 Pro has a score of 88.2, which is better than Moto Z4's 79.8 overall score. The Huawei P40 Pro body is newer, but notably heavier and thicker than Moto Z4. Both of these phones come with the same Android 10 OS (Operating System), so you shouldn't perceive any difference regarding that. The Huawei P40 Pro features just a little better hardware performance than Moto Z4, and although they both have 8 CPU cores, the Huawei P40 Pro also has a higher amount of RAM.
Huawei P40 Pro counts with just a bit better looking display than Moto Z4, because it has a little bigger display, a quite better display pixel density and a slightly better 1200 x 2640 resolution. The Huawei P40 Pro takes a little bit better videos and photos than Moto Z4, because although it has a smaller diafragm aperture which is not good for low-light photography, and they both have the same video resolution, the Huawei P40 Pro also counts with higher 60 frames per second video frame rate, a way bigger back-facing camera sensor taking more light and vivid colors and a back facing camera with a better 50 megapixels resolution.
The Moto Z4 has a way bigger storage capacity for apps and games than Huawei P40 Pro, and although they both have the same 128 GB internal memory capacity, the Moto Z4 also has a slot for external memory cards that allows a maximum of 512 GB. Huawei P40 Pro has a little better battery lifetime than Moto Z4, because it has 4200mAh of battery capacity.
