Comparison review
Huawei P40 Pro has a global score of 88.2, which is just a bit better than Samsung Galaxy M31's overall score of 86.5. These phones work with Android operating system, but the Huawei P40 Pro has older 10 version and Samsung Galaxy M31 has Android 11. Huawei P40 Pro's body has the same thickness than Samsung Galaxy M31, but it is a little bit heavier.
Samsung Galaxy M31 has a screen that's very similar to the Huawei P40 Pro one, although the Samsung Galaxy M31 has a little bit worse display pixels density, a quite lower 1080 x 2340 pixels resolution and a quite smaller display. Galaxy M31 counts with a quite bigger memory for applications and games than Huawei P40 Pro, because although it has less internal memory capacity, it also counts with a SD memory card expansion slot that holds up to 512 GB.
Huawei P40 Pro features a little faster CPU than Samsung Galaxy M31, and although they both have the same number of cores, the Huawei P40 Pro also has more RAM memory. Galaxy M31 has a much better battery duration than Huawei P40 Pro, because it has a 43 percent greater battery size. Huawei P40 Pro takes a little bit better pictures and videos than Samsung Galaxy M31, because although it has a smaller aperture which is not nice for low light images and videos, a back camera with a way worse resolution and a worse 3840x2160 (4K) video quality, it also counts with a way bigger back camera sensor taking more light and vivid colors.
