Comparison review
The Huawei P40 Pro is much better than Xiaomi Mi 5s, getting a general score of 88.2 against 76.4. Huawei P40 Pro's body is a lot newer than Xiaomi Mi 5s's, but it's extremely heavier and a bit thicker. Both of these phones come with Android OS (operating system), but the Huawei P40 Pro has an older 10 version while Xiaomi Mi 5s has Android 6.0 Marshmallow.
The Huawei P40 Pro has a bit better performance than Xiaomi Mi 5s, because it has a larger amount of RAM and a larger number of cores. Xiaomi Mi 5s counts with a bit more vivid display than Huawei P40 Pro, although it has a just a bit worse display pixels density, a bit worse 1080 x 1920 resolution and a lot smaller display.
Huawei P40 Pro and Xiaomi Mi 5s have similar memory capacity to store more games and applications, both of them have exactly the same 128 GB internal memory. Huawei P40 Pro features improved battery lifetime than Xiaomi Mi 5s, because it has 4200mAh of battery capacity. The Huawei P40 Pro takes much clearer photos and videos than Xiaomi Mi 5s, and although they both have the same 3840x2160 (4K) video resolution, the Huawei P40 Pro also has a larger aperture to capture better captures and videos in poorly lited situations, a lot larger back-facing camera sensor, higher video frame rates and a much more MP back-facing camera.
